Our Literacy Program

Re-Focus, Inc. is very proud to offer opportunities for Literacy Instruction in reading, writing, math and money skills for adults with differing levels of ability. Through this program the folks we support gain a greater independence and confidence about their place in the community. Re-Focus cooperates with Providence neighborhood community centers in providing literacy classes.

Funding for this program is currently provided through a Providence Community Development Block Grant with additional funding of $1,000 from the Carter Family Trust to advance the literacy program. We are always looking for additional funding sources to enable us to enlarge this very beneficial program.
