Our Fish Philosophy

Be There

The Fish Philosophy Being there has a powerful effect. In being there, we provide undivided attention and focus on the needs and feelings of the folks we support when we're with them. Think about the times when someone really listened to you, or really tried to understand your needs or feelings. Then, think about the times when someone didn't really pay attention to what you were saying, how you felt, or what you needed. At Re-Focus, being there is the first rule of our support.

Play

Incorporating play into our everyday work schedule allows us to be more creative, relaxed, and enthusiastic about the tasks we do on a daily basis. It means bringing some fun and lightness to our work day.

Make Their Day!

From simple things like opening a door, saying "thank you," or telling someone how well they've done, at Re-Focus we try our best to brighten the day of those around us and in turn, create an enjoyable place to work and grow.

Choose Your Attitude

Everyone has the choice of attitude and how they react to things that happen. Being aware of your attitude and how it can influence others around you and the last rule of our philosophy. It doesn't necessarily mean that everyone is happy 100% of the time, but it does mean that you're aware of your attitude and how it can be changed to help support the people around you and the folks you support.
