Our Services
Residential Services
ReFocus, Inc. provides safe, welcoming residential services for adults with physical and developmental needs in group homes throughout Northern Rhode Island. Residents receive 24-hour, person-centered support with daily living, health and safety, personal goals, community involvement, and relationship-building. Each home offers individualized care in a respectful, inclusive environment that encourages independence, choice, and personal growth. As needs and goals change, ReFocus, Inc. works with individuals, families, and support teams to ensure each person continues to feel safe, supported, connected, and truly at home.
Day Services
ReFocus, Inc. offers day services for adults with physical and developmental needs that promote independence, connection, and personal growth. Participants are encouraged to make choices, build daily living and social skills, explore interests, stay active, and take part in meaningful community experiences. Services are person-centered and provided in licensed, community-focused settings and off-site locations that help individuals build confidence and relationships.
Fiscal Intermediary Services
ReFocus, Inc. self-directed supports give people more choice and control over how their DD funding is used. Individuals set their goals and schedules, hire and manage their own support staff, and oversee their service budget with help from family or trusted supporters if needed.
In self-directed services, the person receiving support is in charge. They recruit, hire, train, supervise, set pay for, and, when needed, dismiss their support staff.
Supportive Living Program
ReFocus, Inc. offers Supportive Living services for adults with physical and developmental needs who want to build independence while staying connected to their home and community. Supports are tailored to each person’s strengths, goals, preferences, and routines, helping individuals make choices, build daily living skills, explore community activities, strengthen relationships, and grow in confidence. ReFocus, Inc. provides flexible, as-needed support in partnership with individuals, families, and support teams to promote independence, inclusion, and a meaningful life.
Shared Living
ReFocus, Inc. offers Shared Living Arrangements for adults with physical and developmental needs who benefit from support in a family-style home. Individuals are carefully matched with providers based on their preferences, routines, interests, support needs, and goals. Providers offer daily support with personal care, meals, transportation, safety, household routines, community involvement, and relationship-building. Through a thoughtful matching process and ongoing guidance, ReFocus, Inc. helps create stable, respectful homes that promote choice, independence, and belonging.
